Estimated cab fare from Florence airport
 

My husband and I will be taking a cab from Peretola to an apartment about a block from the Ponte Vecchio (Oltrarno side) next week. I always feel more comfortable knowing a ballpark figure before getting in the cab. I don't expect problems but I'm wondering if this is normally a trip on the meter or should it be negociated. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I would say 20-25 Euros on the meter.

I was going to say around $20 on the meter...I guess you have your ballpark!
