EPL soccer tickets

I need advise on how to purchase two tickets for any English premier league soccer matches between December 26 and January 2, preferably in London but we can travel.
Thanks,
Claudina

Very difficult for top teams like Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea, as demand exceeds supply. Your only hope - other than using dubious agents who take your money and disappear - is to get a commercial package, also called hospitality. Expect to pay £200 to £300 a person. You may have a chance with less well supported teams like Crystal Palace, Watford or sometimes West Ham. Watch the ticket section of the official site to see if any tickets go on open sale and how to buy (you can usually buy online and collect the ticket at the stadium on the day of the match). Some have print-at-home option. There are divisions below the premier league where tickets are much easier to obtain and game can still be competitive with great match-day atmosphere. They include Charlton Athletic, Queens Park Rangers, Brentford and Fulham in the Championship, Millwall in League 1, and Leyton Orient, Barnet, Dagenham & Redbridge and AFC Wimbledon in League 2.

Just to add that Christmas to New Year fixtures (matches) are very popular, as many people are on holiday.

Good luck with that.

Either you're going to have to get an overpriced package or pay a tout. Follow Alec's advice, but expect nothing . . .

How reliable Is it to buy tickets in stubhub uk?

Rubicund Nov 4th, 2015 02:34 AM

stubhub is an ebay company, so from that point of view it's OK. However, they do charge over the normal price for tickets. You could also try www.viagogo.co.uk which is a similar website and well established.

There 6 teams in the Premier League this season from the London area:

Arsenal
Chelsea
Tottenham (aka Spurs)
West Ham
Crystal Palace
Watford (a bit further out-maybe up to an hour or so)

You need to have a look at each team's website for their fixtures over the time you're in London and see who's at home and then look at ticket availability. If there are none available through the club, then you'll be stuck with paying over the top.

Just a word or two of warning, fixtures are always initially published for weekend games with a kick off time of 3pm Saturday. This goes out of the window at Christmas and New Year and you need to look carefully at the schedules both now and nearer to your trip as TV scheduling will wreak further havoc on the kick off days and times.
