Ephesus, where to stay?
After spending one week in Istanbul next January, my family and I are going to spend 3 days in the region where Ephesus is.I can not find a hotel, or they are beachfront hotels with beautiful pools which we won't use in Jan., or they seem to be very decadent ones. PLease, any hint about hotel in Kusadasi, Selcuk, or any place close to Ephesus will be wellcome. We will rent a car.THANKS A LOT!!

I'm not quite sure what the issue of the pool means. Of course, you won't be using it or the beach in January, which is why those hotels would be much cheaper than in the summer.
We stayed at and loved Kismet Hotel in Kusadasi. Convenient parking, lovely rooms and pretty gardens (I suppose even in January!) |
Would you be happy with a modist family run hotel with 12 rooms only just opposite Artemission ? Or more Luxury around Kusadasý ( not my favorite place to stay but thats me )
Cheers |
For an amazing Turkish treat choose one of the small hotels in Sirinje. It is a small Ottoman-style hill town 20 minutes into the hills from Selcuk. Very convenient to Ephesus (which is walking distance from Selcuk) and a wonderful contrast to busy Istanbul. It was the highlight of our trip last year.

We also enjoyed our stay at the Kismet.

KISMET is number 1 in that area. little bit higher then other hotels BUT worth it

Why not take a little charming hotel in selcuk and discover area as you like. However there are hotels with indoor pools too.
I have stayed in Kayhanbey recently very central and a 3 star hotel with clean rooms. |
Dear Lery
