Ephesus Guides

Will be staying in Izmir on business. Any recommendations from those of you who have enjoyed a guided tour of Ephesus? Would you recommend a private tour or a group tour?

Kent Dore,

Definitly recommend you hire a guide in Ephesus In lower or upper entrence of Ephesus there are many Tourist Guides who certified by the Ministry of Tourism
They are the best about Ephesus. You can rent a car and go there (From Izmir to Selcuk where the ephesus is only 75 KM and road is good).

ABC

End of 2001 we ( I, wife with 3 children ) had memorable experience with Deren Koray Tourism - www.turkishtravel.com. Mr. Altan Koray brought us to Pamukalle, Ephesus, Bergama, Asclepion, and many other places near Izmir. He know also good places for food. Nice places to see and economical.
I agree with abc. There are many, many guides waiting at the gate. And they are really specialists. You will get your own tour of Ephesus, and he/she will concentrate to your questions and comments only.
