entry to france

hey all, i am new to this forum, if anyone could help me outt with some information that would be great.
I have recently been ousted from Austria and told that i cannot return in the next year. I really need to get back there as my relationship with a girl there is breaking down. I want to enter France from the UK either by train or ferry? CAn anyone tell me how strict the passport control is on these journeys? I have a new australian passport. Do they just look at the passports, or is a scanning process? Any info would be appreciated!

I find the UK very strict on making sure they let no one across the channel or onto the planes that has EU restrictions.

Does not sound promising.

Send your friend a ticket and some roses.

Typically, they look. If there's anything they're unhappy about, they then check with the database. And I'm sorry to tell you, but young (no adult would post a message so badly proofread) Australians are high on their list of people they get nervous about.

If they check, and IF you come up, you'll get a 'deported' stamp on your passport and sent back to the UK. Who are then going to have second thoughts about letting you in: there may or not be good reasons for refusing you re-entry, but you'll spend a lot of time waiting while they check.

Good practice for the hassle you'll have at every other major border for the life of that passport. And a GREAT reason for encouraging your dog to eat it. You'll still be barred from Schengen - but with the new, new passport thart'll be less visible to British, American or Singaporean border officials.

Usually, when I am sneaking in and out of countries, I prefer to do a HALO parachute drop. Q has normally fixed me up with several passports. I then don my tuxedo and make my way to the nearest casino, where I find my Aston Martin. After a few rounds with the local SMERSH agents I will walk into my hotel, check the hairs I left on the door of my room, enter and find the girl taking a bubble bath...

Trapper, you will mortgage your travel ability for life if you're caught. Not worth the candle, son.

You broke the law in one country and now you want to do it again?

Actually, I think this is "Sandy" pulling our chain again.

I replied to his other post about ferries to France which he dug up from somewhere - suggesting just that - that he is or may be is related to Sandy.
In any case hopefully nobody here will help him break the law again.

If the girlfriend is worth it she will either wait or come find him where ever he is. If she doesn't then too bad, she obviously wasn't as interested in him as he in her.

I just read this and thought about Sandy too. But Sandy claimed he was Canadian. Trapperjohn claims he has an Austalian passport. Maybe Sandy and trapperjohn were twins seperated at birth???

The OP has posted here twice - both about how to break the law by sneaking into a country illegally.

I assume this is a troll.

If it isn't - you MAY be very lucky and not get caught - and get into France. When you are caught again you will be deported to your home country and not allowed back into Schengen for some lengthy period of time.

And why would you think we're interested in making recommendations on how to commit a crime?

If this girlfriend actually has any interest in you, she will give you the time to sort this out properly. If she won;t - she'll dump you soon anyway - probably for someone with a job, a good deal more stability, and the ability to take her places, rather than behave like a jackass.

Or - if you're really that desperate to get back to her - why not try swimming the channel?

Lots of people have done it - and I'm sure there won;t be anyone on the beach to check your passport.

It always cracks me up when people come to this board asking for help to break the law.

But I will answer based on the presumption this is a serious question and not someone pulling our legs. Trapperjohn, you've already been in trouble once and you are going to make it a lot worse if you try to sneak in. If your girl will not come to see you then it's obvious this relationship is ending. Move on with your life and don't take any chances to save a dying relationship. No relationship is worth the kind of trouble you are asking for. Some day when you are older and wiser you will see things for what they really are and you will be glad you let this go.
