Entry by train from another country - Covid requirements

Hello, I got confused by reading Italy entry requirements. Would appreciate if someone could share their own experience.
If I enter Italy from Switzerland (list C country) by train, and am fully vaccinated, aside from the PLF, do I also need to present a negative Covid test to enter? I am flying to Italy from US first, spend 4 days there, then go to Switzerland for another 4 days, and then back to Italy.
Do I need a negative test to return to Italy?
Thanks

You will need the PLF and the Green Pass (or any vaccination certificate officially accepted by Italy). If you enter Italy by local train or local bus, there will most probably be no control at all.
