Ensuite bathroom
This should be easy. Could anyone tell me what an "ensuite bathroom" is in reference to a hotel room that advertises "ensuite bathrooms"? I'm referring to the ad for the Europa in Madrid.

ensuite = bathroom in your bedroom (what would be called private in the States)
private = your own private bathroom but down the hall shared = sharing bathroom w/ 1 or more other rooms. |
It's a bathroom inside your room that only you have access to.Its your and noone elses

What JanisJ says. Seriously, it means the bathroom is IN your hotel room, not somewhere else
:-) |
re:'private' (janisj's post)...just a caution that on the continent, you don't know which flavour of english the website/brochure has been translated into. best to ask if this is ever an issue.
but, as already said, ensuite is always attached to your room. |
Thank you, thank you. You are all so helpful.
I found this site just a few days ago. What a wonderful, caring group of people you are! |
