English tour of the Grotte de Niaux
We will be traveling the first 2 weeks of October, mostly in Catalonia, but it seems worthwhile to take a few days detour into France for the prehistoric cave paintings in Niaux, museum in Ceret and maybe Collioure.
My question is: we definitely want the English-Language tour of the cave but I cannot find information about schedules for this and how to make a reservation. The only website I find is French only.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

The website is also in Spanish. Does that help?
Wikipedia mentions an English-language tour at 1:30 pm. To make reservations, which the site makes clear are mandatory (the number of people let in is severely limited), you're just going to have to do your best.

We took the English tour in 2012. We went to Parc Prehistoric on one day (highly recommended), and bought tickets for the Parc and Niaux - reserving the English tour for a few days later. This was in mid July.

You can send an e-mail, in English, to [email protected], asking for reservations to the Grotte de Niaux for x number of persons and the date and time. They will answer in French registering you for the tour on the date and hour you ask for, if available, and giving you a reservation number.

I would like to make reservations to visit the Grotte de Niaux for two (2) persons on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11H00. Please confirm to my e-mail ......
