Kate, LOL!!! That is SO true.

I figured out how to deal with that one pretty effectively - just wave a tenner at them. Male or female, young or old, everyone likes to see money being waved at them.

Also, since I'm only 5'2", I tend to stand on the rail whilst at the bar. I can pretend to be 5'7" and with my money, get served faster. I actually like being short, men tend to do things for me more :-)

Unfortunately, it's a liability in the pub...

Don't encourage the minor birds in the 'Red Lion'.

They know enough swear words already ...

Patrick - Pouring a proper pint of Guinness takes 2 minutes+.
(Time for the white horses to swim the Channel!)

If you keep people behind you waiting that long - in London especially, you're in deep ****!

Maybe you should try cider ...
