English/Italian translator for IPad or ITouch
 

Hi, looking for a good app for our trip in October. Would like to cut down on our guide books and paper carrying. Anyone with good recommendations?
Pretty well organized for our Abruzzo, Amalfi, Puglia, Rome trip except for this.

Yes, have searched, but there are a few and would appreciate any personal experience with real life use. Have ordered some apps in the past that were pretty disappointing

i just downloaded google translate you can talk into the phone and it will translate it to english or the other way around...it works great

oo and google translate is free
