Energetic Tour Guide Need for Type A Personalities Visiting Rome

We are a group of 8 who will be in Rome for four days as part of a twelve day trip this fall. I have looked at Context Rome and some other recommended tour guides but none seem to be a great fit.

This is a group of sales people with attention spans that can be pretty short : ) I am looking for a dynamic private guide to guide us through the Colosseum, Forum and Vatican and provide the hightlights but not as many details as I have heard on previous tours.

If anyone has a recommendation that would be a good fit, it is much appreciated!

I'm a private school headmaster who takes groups of students to the Vatican each summer. I use Antonino Sarrocco with www.walingrome.com. My students are always engaged by this enthusiastic tour giude.

I hope you are not planning to come in high season when lines will be long and museums crowded...that may be a nightmare for your pals with short attention spans! Check out the guides from www.wheninrometours.com - ask for a native english speaking or someone with excellent english so that your people don't get annoyed with a thick accent. Aside from that, I think your people will surprise you - the Vatican has so many stunning pieces of art that even the hard to please will be floored.

We will be there the last week in October which is better than summer lines but not as good as winter, IME!

Thanks for the recommendations everyone.

Don't hesitate to e-mail Francesca Caruso at [email protected]

She's an awesome guide who is in tune with the needs of her customers. She'll work with you on an itinerary. Our group of 10 women absolutely adored her.

I've recommended her several times on this board. Would just like to be clear that I have no business connection with her, am not related to her, and receive no monetary kickback for the recommendation.
