Emilia Romagna
 

Hello everyone. My wife and I will visit Emilia Romagna for 10 days. Any tips on where to stay , how to allocate our 10 days . We hope to spend. 4 nights in Bologna and wide open of where to spend the other 6 in. We hope to have 2 more bases to stay in.

We stayed a week in an apartment at an agriturismo outside Reggio Emilia a few years ago. We had a car and mostly toured the countryside, going to farmer markets, wineries and cheesemakers. The train service in the valley is reliable and frequent. We visited Bologna, but only for a day. Were we to visit the area again, Modena and Parma would definitely be on the list.
