Elvira in Paris
Has she posted the story yet? If so, what's it called? I loved the tale of the mariners!

Look for two threads;
One has the word GEESE in it.
I think that is the Paris part.
Her other thread is the italy part, that has a title with HAM and SUCKING MUD in it.
Enjoy!
nancy

I found "Take your geese home when you leave" but it's from 1999. Is there another one?

Hi Paige, her current thread is the one that has HAM and SUCKING MUD in it. Its very funny and well written.
Art
Condensing five weeks of pure bliss into a reasonable size posting is daunting. On top of which I now have a head cold of gargantuan proportions. I've figured out I'll do 3 different titles (and contents): Illusions and Allusions subtitled: observations; Fear and Loathing in Paris subtitled: helpful hints for travelers and renters; McDonald's for Lunch, Lapin for Dinner subtitled: my five weeks in the mostest wonderfulest gorgeousest city in the whole wide world (in my never-humble opinion). This sucker is going to have to be in installments...

I would love to put a face with a name. Any chance you will post your trip pictures on the web.

Paige!!
so sorry, boy do I feel really silly.
Not only did I not read your posting correctly (so I gave you the venice posting, which you already read.)
I did not even think to look at the date on thee Geese posting.
Just assumed.
I am not usually so empty headed. But as my youngest is fond of saying ,"my head was just stuffed with fluff today"
(from her winnie the pooh books)
nancy
