Having been to Iceland, I would have thought that there would still be quite a lot of space left for the elves even after the new roads are built - long stretches of the countryside consist of land that only elves could possibly have any interest in at all.

It is important to look after the Elf population in Iceland. There is a high proportion of Elf belief in the country.

Very true bilbo. The Icelandic National Elf Service are very busy on this project and are lobbying to preserve the habitat even for those in rude elf.

I've heard there's a lot of Elf Abuse in Iceland - think it's all those long winter nights
