Electric output
 

I remembered that the last time i visited Italy, that the electric outputs had three round prongs. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase a converter, so that I can bring my hairblower etc.?

This has been discussed at length here and a quick search under "electric converters" will give you more information that you will ever need.

But assuming you are from the US or Canada, I'd highly recommend you go to K-Mart or Wallmart and buy a dual voltage hairdryer for about $18 or so. Then you can flip a switch on it. You can pick up a simple plug "adaptor" not a voltage converter that will let you plug it in. You can pick those up at any travel store or that place I hate called Radio Shack.

I agree with Patrick on this..do not fool with "converters" but get a dual-voltage appliance here or buy a 220 voltage hair dryer over there.

Agree with the advice to bring a dual voltage hair dryer. Those converters are expensive, heavy, and do not work very well with any appliance that heats up.

I've used the same Conair dual voltage blow dryer at home and when traveling abroad for nearly ten years.
