You've hit on one of the 'problems' of persons reviewing restaurants, wines, etc.... They don't seem to have a budget.

I too like a good meal, but the word 'value' plays a distinct part on what is good for me. I will splurge once in a while, especially if (as is the case in 2 weeks) it's my wife's birthday and we'll be in San Sebastian.

It's easy to find a restaurant cheaper than El Bulli, 99.999% of all restaurants are cheaper.

I do cross the line when my wife wants to have lunch at a Burger King in Madrid. Local food always.

I'm sure the truck has a name, but I'll bet half the people who go there don't know what it is -- it's "you know, the one on the right just north of Sears".
