Eiffel Tower - Paris

Have been calling to reserve tickets to the Eiffel Tower (9 + 011 + 33 + 1 + 44 + 11 + 2323) - line is constantly busy. Does anyone have another number or alternative means to reserve tickets? In viewing the Eiffel Tower web address, they don't offer on-line booking. Thanks!

naturegirl-

As far as I know, you cannot purchase tickets for Eiffel in advance. See the FAQ page of Eiffel:

Hi!
When we were in Paris two years ago, I made reservations for dinner at The Jules Verne Restaurant at the EIFFEL TOWER. It was a great meal. (lunch and dinner available). If you dine here, there is a separate private elevator for the restaurant which takes you all the way up. If you have time, this is a great way to enjoy the view, while eating a meal inside. NO LINE!! I don't know if the Altitude restaurant offers the same type of elevator access. Check this website:

Thanks yk and katdesign for the info - I think reservations are in order for the restaurant or be prepared to stand in a long line to purchase tickets.

Hi NG,

The Jules Verne is a rather expensive restaurant.

If you go early in the morning or late at night (both good times to see the city) you won't have lines.

Hi, Ira

Thanks for info re restaurant; will heed your advice re "early/late".

Jules Verne is rather pricey, but lunch is a lot more affordable. There won't be the lights, but you'll be able to see over Paris.
