Eiffel Tower - Paris
Have been calling to reserve tickets to the Eiffel Tower (9 + 011 + 33 + 1 + 44 + 11 + 2323) - line is constantly busy. Does anyone have another number or alternative means to reserve tickets? In viewing the Eiffel Tower web address, they don't offer on-line booking. Thanks!

As far as I know, you cannot purchase tickets for Eiffel in advance. See the FAQ page of Eiffel: http://www.tour-eiffel.fr/teiffel/uk...ex.html?id=1_6 |
Hi!
When we were in Paris two years ago, I made reservations for dinner at The Jules Verne Restaurant at the EIFFEL TOWER. It was a great meal. (lunch and dinner available). If you dine here, there is a separate private elevator for the restaurant which takes you all the way up. If you have time, this is a great way to enjoy the view, while eating a meal inside. NO LINE!! I don't know if the Altitude restaurant offers the same type of elevator access. Check this website: http://www.tour-eiffel.fr/teiffel/uk...les_verne.html |
Thanks yk and katdesign for the info - I think reservations are in order for the restaurant or be prepared to stand in a long line to purchase tickets.

Hi NG,
The Jules Verne is a rather expensive restaurant. If you go early in the morning or late at night (both good times to see the city) you won't have lines. |
Hi, Ira
Thanks for info re restaurant; will heed your advice re "early/late". |
Jules Verne is rather pricey, but lunch is a lot more affordable. There won't be the lights, but you'll be able to see over Paris.
