Eiffel Tower Light Show

What time does the Eiffel Tower light show take place? We will be in Paris in September. We have dinner reservations in the 7th arr. one night and thought it would be wonderful to see this ... if the timing works out!

The Tower is lit up after sunset until midnight I believe, and then it 'twinkles' on the hour. It is beautiful to see.

Yep. For about five minutes (I think?) it sparkles and there's a spotlight from the top that circles around. You can see it from a lot of central Paris.

Our apartment was near the Arc and we were able to see it every night on the hour. Very beautiful, like champagne bubbles.

It twinkles on the hour for about 10 minutes until 1am!

I was in Paris recently and I think it was from 10.00pm onwards because it was still quite bright at 9.30pm.

In September it should be earlier.

Won't that be a lovely way to cap off our evening? Hopefully, we will be able to walk over to the Eiffel Tower that night!

Thanks, everyone!

The Eiffel Tower website says "every hour from nightfall, thanks to sensors". So in September it might be 9pm (I can rememember seeing it before it was fully dark, but not what time of year it was), but certainly 10pm onwards. Depending where you are in the 7th, you could get to the Champ de Mars for a clear view.
