Eiffel Tower Charms
Does anyone know a good place to purchase silver eiffel tower charms? I'd like to bring some back as gifts, but don't even begin to know where to look.
Thanks for your help! |
Hi mac,
Just about every souvenir shop in Paris. |

I just recently returned from Paris and found Eiffel Tower charms in both silver and gold at the gift shop in the Arc de Triomphe. Of course you have to climb a ton of steps to get to the museum level but the gift shop had the charms in 3 different sizes. They also had Arc de Tiomphe charms and a charm bracelet complete with 5 Paris charms. The Eiffel Tower charm that I bought in silver only cost me 9 Euros.
I found that most of the regular gift / souvenir shops did not carry the charms. I did later spot a couple of charms in some of the museum gift shops. |
My first response would be to try the many souvenir shops along the rue de Rivoli, but perhaps they're the ones MRL was referring to that didn't carry them.

Last September I bought the earrings and saw the necklace of the Eiffel Tower in a shop on the left bank adjacent to Notre Dame. I wish I could recall the name. It is a pretty shop, small and carries Parisian souvenirs including some tapestry handbags. The name of the street would be Quai de Conti or Quai de la Tournelle according to my map. Does that ring a bell w/ anyone? I recall that after I had bought the jewelry, one of the students in our group found them at another souvenir shop for a bit less. So they must be available throughout the city.

I bought a nice pewter one for €1 from a kid hawking them under the tower.
Have you checked eBay? I just searched silver eiffel tower charm* and got 24 hits. |
I'm glad nobody has blasted you for doing/buying something that is "too touristy."
When I was a child someone brought me one of those Eiffel Tower models that they sell everywhere, including in the Tower gift shop. I loved it then and I love it now even though the last time I visited the Tower they were selling jillions of them. Some gifts are worth their weight in gold it seems. |
There is a shop at the mall underground at the Louvre--can't remember the name, but it is just across the way from Sephora. They carry all kinds of costume and inexpensive silver jewelry. I bought mine there in December and had a choice of two or three different ones. Their logo on their sign is a scotty dog. I think the name is Amelia--or someting like that. I hope this helps
