Eiffel Tower changes color...

Is it my browser or is the feed from www.paris-live.com showing la tour Eiffel with a green bottom half lately? Anyone out in Fodorville know why? Curious minds want to know... Thanks, EJ

Rugby World Cup month. Why green, je ne sais pas.

Is it just an effect of the lighting?

Maybe just a coincidence, but the colours on the webcam look very like the Australian rugby strip.

Of course, they should really light it in a tartan effect now to mark Scotland's fantastic football victory in Paris tonight.

Merci Robespierre. I guess we'll be seeing une tour verte when we're in Paris mid-October. I'm afraid I know very little about this sport, so I've no idea either why the color green is symbolic of rugby. Thanks again for getting the information. EJ ((#))
