Editors, I can't read the first message because of the ad

Hello, I didn't know how to address this, so I'm hoping that I am appealing in the correct forum to remove the ad for something in British Columbia that obsures the OP in every forum on my screen. Please shut the wretched thing off!

I'm not getting that ad. I see one for US Airways, but it doesn't obscure anything, luckily.

I am and it is very annoying. Might as well log off since I can't read the first post anyways.

same her! EXTREMELY ANNOYING! Usually there will at least be a little Close button, but nothing! Does not make me a fan of the advertiser!!!!!!

Install Firefox.com with its built-in popup blocker. End of problem.

Or hit reply and you will see the OP without the popup.

Still annoying and still needs to be fixed.

I'm running Firefox with its built-in popup blocker on my Mac and the ad appears on every thread.

I surely hope that it's not one of those ads that's purposefully annoying in order to generate discussion and keep the product before the eyes of potential buyers. I would hope that the BC travel commission and their ad agency are above that, but I guess the bar isn't very high anywhere in the advertising world these days.

I have written to the Editors twice today about this problem. So far that hasn't helped. Quite irritating isn't it. My popup blocker isn't working for that darn BC ad..I love BC but right now I feel like I hate their tourist agency.
