Editing threads...
Just curious about how this works.<BR><BR>Yesterday I posted a note about getting from the airport to my hotel in Barcelona.<BR><BR>Two people replied, each with a different suggestion -- which both seemed good.<BR><BR>I went back today to print it, and one of the suggestions is gone -- and it was not at the end of the thread either.<BR><BR>Just curious why it happened. If it was editorial oversight, they picked a thread with nothing more interesting to say than "take the bus" and "take the train."<BR><BR>The (now) missing suggestion was nothing but helpful. Perhaps it's just a glitch?<BR><BR>Search on "kit" if you want to see what I'm talkning about.

Just Type barcelona in the search box and it pops right up!

I've also seen answers I KNOW where there one day disappear the next. <BR><BR>Probably just a glitch.

I agree this one is doing some strange things.

Or edited out by Fodors censors. An accident? Your thank-you certainly didnt indicate that his answer had anything that was unacceptable about it. Who knows

This is being excessively pedantic on my part, but the URL listed above takes you "out of frames". The format listed below (same thread) does not.<BR><BR>http://www.fodors.com/forums/threadselect.jsp?fid=2&tid=34413986<BR><BR>Bes t wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>[email protected]<BR>

Yes, it was a very nice and helpful reply, even telling me directional cues to look for when I got off the bus. I'm not angry in any sort of censorship way, I just wanted that information...today while I have access to a printer.
