Edinburgh Premier Travel Inn vs. Grassmarket Hotel
I'm preparing for a trip to Edinburgh and am looking at budget hotels. I know that Premier lodge and Travelodge have "combined" as Premier Travel Inn, but I'm still a bit confused: On the Premier Travel Inn website, they have 2 Edinburgh locations: Morrison St. and Lauriston Place. Moreover, I think the old Premier Lodge City Centre has become the Grassmarket Hotel.
I guess my questions are:
Is the Lauriston Place location new?
Is the Grassmarket the old Premier Lodge?
Any opinions/experiences at the Lauriston Place Travel Inn or the Grassmarket? I couldn't find reviews for either at Trip Advisor.

You are a bit confused. I see that www.travelinn.co.uk redirects to premiertravelinn.com, but www.travelodge.co.uk is still there.
We stayed at the Edinburgh Central travelodge. While not charming, it is convenient and 65£ per room (double).

It was Premier Lodge & Travel Inn which merged.
Yes, the Lauriston Place location is new.
Yes, the Grassmarket is the old Premier Lodge.
Haven't actually been in either but I think the Lauriston Place one would be better.
