People this skinny (under 70 pounds) are allowed to stay in normal people hotels, as far as I know.
I stayed at the Apex International last June. Nice hotel with a big room and a big bathroom. Great location with a view looking up to the castle. There were four of us in the room and the weekend rate averaged out to 65 pounds a night for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. This was for a room with no view.

http://www.apexhotels.co.uk/

I believe they are mostly a business hotel and their weekday rates are much higher. You might try contacting them directly rather than using the on-line service. The staff may know if there are any promotions available when you want to stay there.

Oops. I forgot to say that I really like this site for finding less expensive lodging in the UK.

http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/

If you go to google.com and do a search on edinburgh hotel you'll get several links such as www.scotland-bed-and-breakfast.co.uk or www.tuckedup.com or www.hotelnet.co.uk.
