Hi Liz,

I live just outside of Edinburgh, so if I can be of any help, pls feel free to email me. In the meantime though - try the Scotsman for jobs (on a Friday). Most ads can also be accessed online at scotsman.com. What sort of thing is it that you do?

Also, I'm not sure what your accommodation situation is, but be prepared for fairly expensive rental prices compared to other parts of Scotland (barring Glasgow). The last flat I rented in Edinburgh was £400 a month for a 1-bedroom flat. There are numerous agencies to try for finding accommodation.

Let us know how you get on!

Do you hold an EU passport? Do you have a work permit? If not, have you checked whether you can legally obtain work in the UK, and if so, for how long? Please check the rules at www.homeoffice.gov.uk
