A couple years ago four of us hit a sale at the Ecco store in Alkmaar. I bought a pair of the Ecco cross shoes that are always $160 here in the states and I've never found on sale anywhere for about half that, because of the sale (but normally they would be about the same price as here). Even at the Ecco outlet store here in Florida, my favorite ones are never on sale. My partner also bought a pair of Eccos that I've never seen in the states for a very good price -- again because of the sale. Most people go to the cheese market in Alkmaar (we did that too) but we were much more excited about our Ecco find.
