Eating in london?

What are the best places to eat in London that arent too terrible in price, maybe 15 pounds and under? For both dinner and lunch :) Thanks

Look on the chalk boards outside the pubs to see what their daily specials are. Think about eating your main meal at lunch time when it could be cheaper, and have a lighter meal at night.

There are a lot of small grocery stores where you can get take out food and take it back to your room or to a park.

The bigger grocery stores also have deli sections where you can get a sandwich and yogurt and fruit etc.

It's definately possible to eat on a budget in London as long as you don't want to Fine Dine every night.

If you are anywhere near Chelsea in the morning, try Picasso for breakfast. It's on Kings Road. About 6GBP for a full English breakfast.

I do shop at the grocery for great prices and interesting options as well. I do also love the Indian food in London! Lots of affordable options....

Some places with more than one location are Wagamama and Carluccio's which will fit your budget.

ASK Pizza has numerous locations and serves pasta dishes and salads in addition to their pizza. It's good value and pretty good food.

At Brown's Restaurant on St. Martin's Lane, we enjoy the Steak, Mushroom, and Guiness Pie that is about £10 and then the Sticky Toffee Pudding, maybe £4.50, which is to die for. There are other locations of Brown's, but I have not tried them. Someone once posted here that the St. M. Lane location has the best food.
