Eating cheaply in Venice

We are renting an apartment around the Academeia Bridge. I need a regular grocery and ideas for dinner under 20 Euros.

there are some great spots around campo san polo... easily under 20 euros for dinner.

rialto market is great - cant comment on prices, but its an amazing market.

Thanks, my main concern is "too touristy" others have made some areas sound like ripoffs. Any names of retaurants you could recomend?

Which side of the Accademia bridge? If Dorsoduro, there's a large Billa supermarket on the Zattere or a smaller SMA supermarket on Campo Santa Margherita.

I used the Billa as mentioned above. On the Dorsoduro side of the bridge. Near to the post office. There's not much signage so a bit difficult to spot, but it's a nice full service grocery store.
