EasyJet not keeping refund promise

Last August I had tickets to fly Krakow to Berlin on Aug 25 with EasyJet, purchased online. A few weeks before the flight, EasyJet sent me an email that the flight for that day had been cancelled and they, with my approval, had rebooked me for the following day. Since I needed to be in Berlin by the 25th, I took the offered option to cancel my ticket and get a refund. I've emailed them several times, giving my cancellation #, etc, and no reply. Any suggestions on how to get action? Any aviation authority I can report this to? I suggest you avoid EasyJet if you need to get somewhere on time!

Did you keep a copy of their offer?
Why are you e-mailing them and not calling them or is this absolutely impossible to do?

Contact your credit card company and dispute the charge. They'll ask for documents showing that you tried to resolve the issue with EasyJet (which you have) and give you a refund.

You can call them. Somewhere in their website are phone numbers.

Hard to find, but I have found the page for you.

On the easyjet homepage, click on contact us.

You get the questions/answer page. Type telephone into the search box, and up comes the page with the contact telephone numbers, including the international number. Try calling customer services - I have found them helpful in the past.

Good luck!

I'd quit fighting w/ EasyJet - just dispute it w/ the credit card company.

Assuming you still have all the correspondence from EJ - let the CC do your fighting.

Sometimes when you "dispute" a charge such as this the first thing the CC compnay asks you to do is contact the entity involved yourself.

Again, I hope you kept a copy of their refund offer.
