Easter Lunch / Dinner in Venice Restaurant Recommendation
I am looking for restaurant recommendations for an Easter lunch and or dinner in Venice. We will be in the St. Mark’s Square area, but can eat in any area. Our party consists of 2 adults, 2 18 year olds and a 12 year old. Two have seafood allergies. The restaurant doesn’t have to be fancy, but I would like to have something booked in advance. I will also check with my hotel (Al Codega) for recommendations. Thanks for your suggestions.

La Bitta in Calle Lunga San Barnaba might work for you. They proudly proclaim "no fish", and we have never seen seafood on the menu either.

Peter, is La Bitta open Sundays? I thought that was their closing day (I could very well be wrong though.)
Vini da Gigio in Cannaregio would be good - lots of great meat dishes, and definitely open Sundays. |
Thanks for the suggestions. I will check them out.

Thanks for the suggestions. La Bitta is closed on Sundays. Maybe we'll try that on another day. Vini da Gigio looks good. I am waiting to hear from them regarding availability.

I'm not sure Vini da Gigio will take online bookings anymore, so if you don't hear back give them a ring when you arrive in Venice.
Its a really good restaurant! Enjoy... |
Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to keep on top of it.
