Easter in Naples?

This will be my first visit to Naples. Thinking of arriving that Saturday for just a few days. Will everything be closed on Sunday and Monday? Shops, palazzo, etc. Any holiday festivities going on that weekend?

Holly,<BR>I was there last Easter and as I recall most places (restaurants, etc) were opened. In fact we spent Easter Sunday visiting one of the ruins just outside of Naples ( name escapes me) and had a delicious meal by the sea. I saw one Palm Sunday procession , but that was it for organized festivities (it was unseasonably cold and very windy-Easter was one of the few wamr days ). The pastry and food shops had plenty of special items for Easter.

Thanks, Michele. Anyone else have any comments?

This is a wonderful time to visit- I was there for Easter week last year- the Good Friday Procession on Procida is wonderful! But every town has it's own version...
