Will be staying near St.Andrews next summer, which is your favorite fishing village and why? My husband will be golfing and I would like to sightsee, take scenic photos and shop. Can you help?

Difficult to pick because they all have differing charms. Crail is probably the "prettiest"- but Anstruther has the best resaurant and hotel and St Monans the best golf course; Elie has the best beach. Ask Tony; that's where he's from.

And with the exception of St Andrews, don't expect good shopping in any of them
