Eary Morning Travel to Heathrow
I have a 6:30 am flight from Heathrow. The tubes don't start running until after 5:00am.
Any suggestions on getting to Heathrow from Baker Street tube/Regent's Park area by 5:00 am would be appreciated.

Not sure if there is a cheaper solution at that hour, but you can call Swiss Cottage cars and they will pick you up at any hour and take you right to the airport. The cost should be about 25 pounds. You only need to call them a couple days ahead. 020-7431-2700

Does a car service fit your budget? It's a good deal if there are two or more of you. Swiss Cottage cars (020 7431 2700) is good, and would cost about 21 pounds from your area.
Well, Patrick always recommends Swiss Cottage Cars :-) and I always recommend Ray Skinner at www.london-transfers.com. Either way you can't go wrong. If you can't get either of them ask you hotel to arrange a mini-cab pickup for you. If that doesn't work then I'd stay at a hotel at Heathrow before the flight and be sure I was there on time! If none of these suggestions appeal to you check the phone book while in London for car services. We used on called Ambassador a few years ago and they were fine.

Last spring I left from Russell square. The Heathrow Airbus has regular stops all over London (I am told). This particular stop was on Southampton Row, less than a block from my hotel. It cost much less than 20 pounds, as I recall, was quick, had a place to store my luggage, was a double-decker and quite nice. May or may not leave from near your area but definitely worth checking out. Id try Heathrows website.

If you dont wish to use the car services being promoted by Lori or Patrick, you can catch the Airbus at the Baker Street tube station at about 4:15 am, which will get you to Heathrow by 5:00 am.

Speaking of which, does anyone know about how long it will take me to get to Heathrow from my hotel near Buckingham Palace, on a Tuesday Morning at 9am? Ray Skinner is picking me up...
