Nitajan, You say you left the Accademia stop at 6:30 a.m., and arrived Pz. Roma at a "little after 7:00." Can you remember if you arrived closer to 7:00, 7:05, 7:10, etc. At that time in the morning every minute counts.

I know we got to the post for the bus at 7:12am. Prior to that we went to the ticket office and found out we'd bought the wrong ticket the day before, and we also went to the post for the wrong bus before asking someone. So at the latest I'd guess we got there at 7:05am.

Pay no attention, I often mistype, but it just hit me as funny. Wrong ticket, wrong post (assume that is the bus stop) so start a fight? Travellers can get uptight at times!

Funny...I shouldn't be typing at that time of night, since I'm up at 6:00 a.m.

Our flight was at 10:10am. I think we had purchased a ticket for the regular bus and not the airport bus (costs more - 3 vs 1 euro). In the Piazzale Roma there is a different bus stop post for each line and there are several stops scattered throughout the parking lot with a designated painted box where the bus stops.
