Early flight from Venice: Transportation to airport

I have a 6:30 am departure flight from Venice in November. What will be my best option for transportation to the airport at such an early hour of the morning?

The bus from Piazzale Roma at 0500---vaporetto to there.

Where is your hotel located?

Another option is a water taxi.

You should be fine if you arrive at the airport by 5:30. The 5:00 bus from Piazzale Roma will get you there by 5:20. I like taking the bus- quick and easy.

There is not much open at Marco polo before 5:30 am including the airline desks. I believe that you will be fine by arriving around the 5:20 to 5:30 am time frame.

Thanks folks. I had been planning to stay at a monastary which would likely not have good options for leaving very early in the morning, and not have ready access to the vaporetto. Given that, I
decided to cash in some hotel points and stay at the Hilton. I'm sure they'll have a transportation option.

Early, you'll have basically the same options at the Hilton as you would have any other place. but since it is on the island of Giudecca instead of Venice itself, you won't be able to walk to Piazzale Roma.

The Hilton's shuttle doesn't start until 08:00. Alilaguna doesn't start until 09:00.

It does look like the vaporetto runs from the Palanca stop near the hilton at around 4:30 am so you can catch the 5:00am bus to the airport.
