Early flight from CDG - how much time do we need?
 

If you had a 6:30am flight from CDG, what time would you arrive at the airport?

Thanks to SkySaver miles tickets, two family members are making their way home to the US from Paris via Amsterdam at an ungodly hour.

I'm struggling with where to stay that last night -- well, to be more precise, how much to spend for that last night -- although we'd love to be within walking distance of CDG Terminal 2. Which leaves, it seems, the Hilton or the Sheraton.

Other hotels' shuttles don't seem to get going until 5:30 am, which I bet is leaving it too late. Yuck.

This one sank like a stone ... can anyone out there offer some advice?

For a flight to Amsterdam, one hour before the flight is plenty.

For an 06:30 European flight 1-1:30 hr is OK.

i don't think they open the ticket counters/gates until 6:00 anyway, so arriving too early, you'll just wait for the employees to show up.
