Early check in--Milan hotels?
We shall arrive at 8AM in Milan on 4/12, and wonder what the general policy is for Milan hotels re: check in time. We would love to check in and crash for a bit--what with getting off of the "red eye". The idea of marking time, waiting to rest and stash our bags is not a pleasant one.

First of all, it obviously depends on how busy the hotel is!
However, even if you can get into your room right away, it's probably wiser not to crash soon as you get there, but to walk around outdoors for a while to ease your adjustment to the new time zone and make easier for you to get you body in tune with where you are.
