early check in hotel in Madrid

Does anyone have any ideas about a hotel or any other type of place we could get a really early morning check in in Madrid?

Thanks

Linda

Linda, I have never found a hotel that could promise this unless you are willing to pay as if you had checked in the night before. However, in the current economic downturn they might be more amenable to commit. It wouldn't hurt to ask and see how they respond.

I'll be curious to see if you get any ideas from other posters.

Just cross your fingers. I have been lucky getting a room at 9:30 am a few times in Madrid. Hope you are, too.

having the frequent traveller card from the chosen hotel MIGHT help..

I agree that you won't get that without paying. You are really asking for another night's accomodation, after all, since checkout time is usually around noon. Do you mean that you are willing to pay for it, or not, it makes a difference. What is your idea of really early, also, that sounds like 7 am or so to me. I've checked in around 10 in Madrid with no problem, but that's the luck of the draw, I think.

Even if you can't check in early you can most likely leave your luggage and go have breakfast.

If you want a guaranteed very early check in you will have to pay for the room from the night before.

We have arrived at many hotels in europe at 7 or 8 am and typically they offer you a free breakfast (assuming breakfast is included in the price of the room) and will get you into a room as soon as possible. If the hotel isn't full that may be fairly quickly (8 or 9 am) - but if it's busy you can;t count on anything earlier than the regular check in time.

Naturally they will check your luggage so you can go out and get started sightseeing.
