Early August- Spain and which other city?
 

Hi,

I am planning a vacation to Spain to visit family in early August. I have about 12 days to travel in Europe. I am flying in from India and was trying to decide if I could visit another country as well, for a day or two. Not able to make up my mind between going to Greece or Paris. Any ideas?

Spain, like India, contains several distinct regions with differing landscapes, interests, cuisine, languages and aspirations that go so far as a desire to become separate countries. You can easily spend your time moving around Spain and feel like you have visited many different places. Greece is another Mediterranean country and somewhat similar to Spain. Paris is of course doable, but one or two days is a very short time for this extremely attractive metropolis. I would only recommend it if you have an open-jaw flight.

You should tell us a bit more. What will be your last destination in Spain? What are your preferences?

As you consider your options, do keep in mind that any time you spend going to another country is time you will NOT be spending in Spain.

If you have not bought tickets already try to fly into Spain and out of this second country you wish to visit.
