Early a.m. flight out of Schipol -- where to stay?
 

Can you recommend a place to stay near Schipol Airport so we can catch a 7:30 a.m. flight? Something like a Holiday Inn would be fine -- nothing fancy.

we have a reservation at the Best Western Airport for next month. Its reviews look okay and found a 108 Euro rate. You might check it out. They have airport shuttle service.

Ibis Amsterdam Airport has a free shuttle to Schiphol. 109euro for a double, 79euro on weekends.

The Sheraton (and slightly further on, the Hilton, are within WALKING distance of the terminal but may be out of your price range. The Mercure is IN the terminal.

The Sheraton is quite decent and a 5 minute walk to the terminal.

Actually, there is a covered walkway from the Sheraton which leads directly into the Schiphol Plaza area of the terminal...please AVOID that Burger King there, however...and their "french fries from hell" LOL.
