E-Tickets, first time, CDG

We are flying into CDG in a few weeks. The airline(Delta) wants $20 more per ticket for paper tickets and they assured me that e-tickets are fine. I have copies of the itinerary, is there anything else I should do? I am stil nervous not having paper tickets.

Most airlines issue e-tickets nowadays with a fee for paper tickets if you want. All you need to do is show your ID (passport) at the check-in counter and a boarding pass will be issued.
Actually e-tickets are better than paper tickets as you may misplace the paper tickets or they can get stolen.
E-tickets are fine.

You all make such a fuss with e-tickets. Think logically - why would an airline deliberately issue you tickets that they intend to refuse passage on? They're perfectly alright, I've never ever had any problems with them whatsoever, a ticket's a ticket, as long as you're booked on that flight with proof of identity there is no issue.

There's nothing to be nervous about. I've been flying to CDG a few times a year for about three years now with e-tickets. It's a no-brainer. You just show up at the counter with proper ID and they give you a boarding pass.

I know--isn't it amazing. The kiosks practically speak to you as you approach.

Hi tofu,

You're fine. Don't worry. Have a nice trip.

Thanks, I am reassured. Now can you find me a rental car at a reasonable price?

Sure. Have you called AutoEurope? (1-800-223-5555; www.autoeurope.com)? They always get me the best deal possible. Keep in mind, though, that rental car prices have gone up a fair bit in recent years.
