Duty Free Purchase of Canadian Whisky from CDG to Venice

My father is a Canadian whisky drinker and was planning on purchasing some duty-free bottles to enjoy during his 4-week trip through Italy on his flight from Seattle to CDG ; he will then fly on a different airline from Paris (Orly) to Venice (flying on Easy Jet). My question is whether or not he will be able to transport the bottles to Venice in either his carry-on or checked baggage.

Alternatively, is Canadian whisky readily available to purchase in Italy at either a local liquor shop or at a duty-free store in the Venice airport?

He cannot take the bottles as carry-on from Paris to Venice. It would have to go in the checked luggage. He could hope to find a duty-free shop after the security check in Orly to purchase a bottle there. He will not be able to use the duty-free shop at the airport in Venice. That is only for people leaving the country.

If he is changing from CDG to Orly, he can put the stuff in his checked luggage easily, but what will it do to his weight limit on EasyJet?

I have seen Four Roses (yes, a Blast from the Past) advertised in Italy, so if what he wants is a rye-based blended whiskey, that might be easier.

He won't be allowed bottles plural - only one 1 litre bottle per person duty free. He would need to put it in his checked bags at CDG or lose it at security there if he bought it in Seattle.

Buying it at CDG it won't be duty free since he is flying to another EU country but he can (in theory) take more than one bottle, since it is duty paid.

Thank you for your replies. Perhaps my father will just have to learn to drink something more readily available while he is on vacattion, like Wine, Spritz or limoncello!

He should find a decent range of whisk(e)ys at Orly. With a bit of luck also a Canadian, but always a wide range of Scotch or Irish.
Prices will be lower as in regular stores, as a rule of thumb you get a 1l bottle for the price of a 0.7l bottle in a local supermarket. As taxes are paid, he can take up to 10 liters to Venice - but I doubt it's worth to carry more than one or two..
If I remember correctly, EasyJet has no weight limit on cabin luggage as long as the bag stays within size limits.

Sherry,
I have seen Crown Royal in bars and supermarkets all over Italy.
