Not good. I like using booking.com, I hope they made it some how.

In another article i was reading that Booking.com got a tax break from the Dutch government worth 1,8 billion euros between 2010 and 2018.
What are we to do with companies that pay little taxes, huge salaries to their chief executives yet expect the taxpayers to help them out now.

I have no idea tulips. I think it is disgusting. I think the Dutch government is completely wrong in the way it treats these huge multinationals.
I see Amazon France is asking for government help now they have had to close warehouses due to poor working conditions, whilst Bezos has just made another few billion out of the cirisis.

The Netherlands is a tax haven for companies. Other countries are missing out on income because of this too.
I see the CEO of Booking is not taking his 20 million salary this year. How nice of him.

Technically These days booking.com is the toplevel company not Priceline. They changed that years ago.

Not sure why the Dutch are upset about this. They enjoyed the benefits of having companies like booking.com domiciled . Now they have to pay the price. You can't complain now.
