Dundee Scotland, can you recommend any restaurants?

We're going to be staying in Dundee for the British Open in a couple of weeks. Can you recommend any restaurants in town? We like virtually every kind of food.

Stangely enough, there's a nice wee place called the Cafe Buongiorno, buongiorno! It's in Bank Street. Small, quite inexpensive, but genuine Italian food.

Then there's "Jute" - a restaurant in the Dundee Contemporary Arts centre. It's very popular with the arty crowd. I believe the "Tasting Rooms" are very good, but I've not been as yet.

Dundee is the pits for things like culinary delights.

I HAVE been to the Tasting Rooms and it is quite good, but I would strongly advise you cross the bridge to Fife for any nice meals you're planning.

Don't know about the meals, but there are several excellent pubs in Broughty Ferry. Remember, beer is food.
