Dubrovnik restaurants
 

Looking for a few Dubrovnik, Croatia restaurants. Prefer a restaurant with a water view that is close to old town. Don't like what I see on trip advisor. Also considering a 2-4 week rental. Any recommendations ?

I enjoyed Poklisar, with water views IN the Old Town; it still gets decent reviews.

Two to four weeks in Dubrovnik?

Kja- Thanks for the reply. The weeks I'm looking for a rental will likely be spent traveling on day trips in the area. I haven't done planning for this stay since it will likely be in 2019. Rental car or public transportation ?

I would encourage you to think through was you want to see before committing to a rental in Dubrovnik, which isn't all that convenient for many of the day trips that seem to be among the more frequently selected options. A city like Split would likely provide FAR more day-trip options, IMO. You might want to consult the Rough Guide, which provides much more comprehensive coverage of the area that most guidebooks.
