Dubrovnik hotel recommendation
 

We will stay 2 nights at the end of our trip - just my husband and myself (my elderly mother isn't taking the long trip to Dubrovnik).

We want a room with a great sea view - and easy access by taxi or walking or bus to the old town for sightseeing and dinner.

We will probably arrive via catamaran from Brac, though we might rent a car or take a bus - I have another thread asking how to do this from Brac.

Here are my choices. Sure - less money would be nice - but not if the most expensive is extremely superior: Any advice is appreciated!!!!

Hotel Excelsior ( Villa Odak ): superior 522 or deluxe sea 612

Hotel Excelsior ( tower ): sea view balcony 576

If I remember correctly, the Hotel Dubrovnik Palace is pretty much in the center of old town.

Sorry, it was the Pucic Palace that I remembered being in Old Town. I doubt it has sea views. If you go to booking.com you can check on the various hotel's locations by using their map.
