Dublin to London
 

My neice is traveling to Dublin for an art Class in June. She is flying out of London. She has 10 days to work with. How do I best get her to London and see some sights at the same time? Is it possible without flying?

Yes it is possible - but flying is cheaper and much, MUCH faster. Any particular reason she doesn't want to fly?

But yes - ferry from Dublin to Holyhead in Wales and then train to London. This would take just about an entire day.

Well the girls have 10 days to play with, there are taking a class in Shannon. Want to go to Dublin, and are flying out of London. Since I travel alot, they are asking for help. I usually go to Italy and am finding this harder to figure out for some reason?? They are on a college budget and want to see the land

When you said see soem of the sites I thought you meant in London.

This is a whole different question. Since I assume they can't rent a car due to their ages this is one (but just one of MANY) options. Fly from Dubling to Edinburgh. Stay about 3 days - or longer if they want to take some day trips out to the countryside.

Then take the train to York for a couple of days. From York they could either take the train to London and spend 4 or 5 days there - or go to Cambridge for a day or so and then into London for the end of their visit.
