Dublin to Clonakilty - a nice B&B

I posted this message a few days ago, but not it's gone..

I will arrive in Dublin on a Friday morning and be collected at the airport. Driving from there to Clonakilty. We're looking for an isolated B&B within, say, a 15 minute drive to Clonakilty. Only amenity needed is privacy.

I just returned from an extensive tour to Ireland. You don't have to worry about B+Bs. Almost every third house in Ireland is a B+B. 99% of them are nice. Most of them are en-suite (with private bathrooms). We had no problem at all finding very nice places. The rates are usually around 20 Irish Punts per person for double occupancy.
Have a nice trip.

Me

Bringing this to the top, thanks for the help so far. Any thoughts on a town to start looking in would be great. I'm a little concerned because it's off season and a lot of the B&Bs I've looked at so far have show as closed during early November (which I should have mentioned in my original post) Thank you.

Check with the Irish Tourist Board at www.ireland.travel.ie and ask them for their list of B&Bs in the area. also check out www.hidden-ireland.com - a bit more expensive but great places to stay

Cathy
