Here is the BEST Dublin Questions post:

If you type "Dublin" into the search box, you'll find LOTS more.

Click on my name and there will be some old posts on restaurants and things to do. Also check out the destinations area here in Fodors. Come back with any questions and we can go in details if you need.

The Temple Bar area is great and filled with nightlife. Check out Zaytoon (sp?) for a great Persian meal. They are tough to find and a bit different than traditional middle eastern food.

I second that. Zaytoon is really delicious.

It's not exactly a nice touristy restaurant though. More like a place people pile into at 2 am after a night out.

Amicita - my husband is half Persian and his Persian mother has made a Persian food lover out of me. We finally got our first Persian restaurant in Michigan, so now we can get it more often. But it would be soooooo cool to be able to pile into a Persian place for late night drunk food!

Its good late at night for food but in no way is it a restaurant. Its sort of fast food chipper style...and tasty. Not a place to linger over food. You place your order, pay and take to a table.

PJDscott..please stop adding your link its misleading as you seem to sell a guide which to be honest they can get for free from myself, padraig and cailin and the other dubs I am forgetting (Sorry guys).

OK now I am not so nice...you charge people 27 euro? Great if you get it but you are not allowed to advertise here. I will guarantee anyone with a question we can find the answer and a local point of view and I know almost every restaurant and pub in Dublin as do most of us on this board from Dublin. Its a small city and any guide book can tell you places and we can fill you in on the extras. Ask us to see. This is the wrong forum for ads so please you are welcome to give free advice but do not place your website here as you are advertising your "guide" on it.

Your pubs and clubs are also out of date..some changed hands and some closed down...you want to update it.
