Dublin Hotel w/ Son
My 22 year old son and I are traveling to Dublin in March for 4 nights. I need a hotel
recommendation - based on my limited research, it looks as though he would like the Temple Bar area best, even if I would have to put up with some noise. Thoughts and recommendations? thanks in advance |
What's your budget?

And Dublin is a pretty compact city center, too. Anywhere central should give good access to various downtown areas.

Have a look at these.

I was considering either the Paramount or the Morgan - any
experience with these? |
We stayed in the Temple Bar Hotel in 9/07. It was a fantastic location - walking distance to so much. However, the downside was that the Temple Bar area was really noisy at night. We were on the third or fourth floor in the front and even with the windows closed and earplugs in, I could still hear people yelling (until about 4:00 a.m.). The hotel accommodated our request to move to the back of the hotel on the second night and it was considerably better. We had an overnight flight and arrived in Dublin at 5:30 a.m. and they let us check in. It was reasonably priced and they served a hearty buffet breakfast.
